This is a beautiful spot! I've driven past here numerous times but never camped. The sites are clean and the restrooms were clean as well. There is a water tank but no well water or spigots. The camp host was really nice and the campground is very well taken care of. You're right on the water next to a good tubing and swimming spot. The overlook hike starting in the campground next to site 6 is easy and fun. We had four groups in the walk-in sites on the far end. My only complaints and therefore the four star rating are that it's so close to the road that the traffic is loud. Boy Scout Camp Alexander is just up the road and there are busses, trucks, and other vehicles headed there. Anglers get up at the crack of dawn and therefore there's traffic at 4:45 a.m. The sites are also one big pad with the fire pit and picnic table, so unless you have a small tent and plan on having a fire, you'll have to find another spot to put your tent. We ended up on a fairly sloped spot. I would come back but I think Springer Gulch is probably more quiet.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The views were beautiful, there was easy river access, and we all enjoyed the open space for hiking. The camp spots were a bit small, and the bathrooms were only partially kept tidy, but the fire pits were large, and it wasn’t a long walk to get anywhere. My only complaint would really be the lack of shade in the area, but some hammocks and a canopy quickly fixed that. The wildflowers in the area were beautiful, as was pretty much everything else. I will definitely be staying here again

Great campsite with beautiful views. I just wish the host would enforce their rules. Many dogs in the campground were off leash and would run through our campsite. There was also a neighboring site up until 2AM blasting music and getting rowdy. Would have been great if I could get some sleep!

The camp ground was beautiful, I loved taking pictures of the mountains and the river. However the owners were insanely rude, making our trip very unpleasant. I don't recommend. They're are also other beautiful camping grounds. This would have been a good trip if the owners weren't so rude to my group of campers.

The campground itself is beautiful, however the bathrooms are disturbing, I went to the bathroom at night to find a rat crawl out of the toilet. Not to mention the owners are very rude, I don't recommend if you are a person of color. The owners were camping next to my camping group of family friends and they were insanely disrespectful and rude. They got upset when we used water from a water tank, keep in mind we reserved 3 different spots to set up our tents as we were a big group, we even gave them some delicious food but they still were so rude to us. Some kids from our group hanged they deflated floaties to dry on our last day and the owner purposely knocked it down. Seriously, it was up there for like 20 minutes. They constantly complained about us but we were trying to be as respectful as we could. We didn't disturb the other guests and cleaned up after ourselves. This was clearly racially targeted as they were very friendly to the other campers that were white.
